SPE ATCE 2026 runs 21-23 October at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. Three days. After 2025's 25%-YoY-growth showing (5,300+ delegates from 62 countries), 2026 is expected materially larger.

EarthScan's 2026 plan

This is the year EarthScan moves from "presented a paper" to "part of the operator-side conversation":

  • Permanent booth — first time exhibiting at ATCE
  • At least one technical paper under review — extending the VeerNet operator-side fine-tuning results from 2025 with multi-operator deployment data
  • Customer dinner the night before the technical programme starts — closed event for the operator-side relationships we've built through Sprint 6 + Sprint 7

What we'd expect on the programme

The 2026 ATCE technical programme will likely feature:

  • AI-driven reservoir simulation as a maturing track
  • MLOps for petroleum engineering — production deployment patterns
  • Foundation models for subsurface — research-academia community pushing cross-basin pretraining
  • Energy transition geoscience — CCS site characterisation, geothermal reservoir engineering

Why ATCE matters for our customer pipeline

ATCE is where multi-quarter operator engagements get scoped over booth-side conversations. The booth investment for 2026 is a strategic one — not lead-generation-by-volume but relationship-deepening with the operators who already know EarthScan from 2025 (and possibly extending into new ones).
