MOC 2026 runs 20-22 October at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center in Alexandria, Egypt. The Mediterranean offshore industry's primary annual conference, anchored by EGAS (Egyptian NOC), with strong participation from operators across the Eastern Mediterranean basin.
Why the Mediterranean is interesting
Recent decade has been transformative:
- Zohr (Egypt) — Eni's giant gas discovery, redrawing Mediterranean supply maps
- Aphrodite (Cyprus) + Leviathan + Tamar (Israel) — reshaping European gas import alternatives
- Lebanese offshore — pre-licensing, but blocks 8 + 9 + 10 in active exploration discussion
- Carbon storage potential in the basin's depleted reservoirs — Eni + BP have pilot projects
What we'd expect on the programme
- Eni's digital strategy — they have the most aggressive AI/ML programme of any super-major operating in the Mediterranean
- BP East Med + Chevron Egypt technical sessions
- Geopolitical panels — east Med energy transit, Suez
- Mediterranean infrastructure resilience
EarthScan plans
We don't currently have operator partnerships in the Mediterranean. MOC is where those conversations would start. Possibly via mutual contacts at Eni's R&D group (open publication relationships).
Tarry will assess closer to the date based on calendar + priority.
